Portage County Commissioner Tommie Jo Marsilio has been reappointed to serve a second one-year term on the Board of Directors of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio.
The CCAO represents the 86 Ohio boards of county commissioners and the Cuyahoga and Summit County executives and councils.
There are 35 members on the board of directors.
Marsilio, who received her B.A. degree at Youngstown State University and a J.D. degree from Capital University Law School, was elected a Portage County commissioner in 2010.
As the CCAO "works to bring the most innovative ideas and efficiencies to local government," Commissioner Marsilio said she is looking forward to continuing to assist the CCAO in representing Portage County at this level and working to foster cooperation at all levels of government.
