AMETEK AIDS CENTER OF HOPE

Published:

Ametek Corporation recently made the second installment on its $50,000 pledge for the new Amelia DiGirolamo Center of Hope in Ravenna. Presenting a $10,000 check are, from left, Denise Schier, vice president and general manager of floorcare & specialty motors; Tim Michalk, divisional vice president of human resources; Anne Marie Mann-Noble, director of emergency outreach services for Family & Community Services, Inc.; and Matt French, general manager of precision motion control. The new hot meal center and food pantry will be located in the former One Stop building on West Main Street in Ravenna, with more space and updated facilities. The fundraising project is still about $100,000 short of its $370,000 goal.
