Tickets still are available to win a 2014 Toyota Corolla LE donated by Don Joseph Toyota/Scion to benefit the Kent City Schools. The "Barcelona Red" Corolla is on display at the dealership at 1111 West Main Street in Kent.
Tickets for $10 each can be purchased at any of the Kent school buildings or at Don Joseph Toyota/Scion. Tickets also are available from members of the Parent Teacher Organizations at elementary schools and Stanton Middle School. Representatives of the Rough Rider All Sports Boosters and Instrumental Music Boosters are handling sales at the high school.
"As we celebrate our 50th anniversary as a dealership, we couldn't think of any better way to give back to the community that has supported us for 50 years," said Jess Joseph, general manager of Don Joseph Toyota/Scion.
The raffle drawing will be held at Don Joseph Toyota/Scion on at 1 p.m. March 8. The winner need not be present. Visit www.djtoyota.com for contest rules.
All proceeds from raffle sales will be distributed to the seven Kent schools to be used for arts projects, technology, athletics or playground equipment. The top student seller will receive a $1,000 college scholarship from Don Joseph Toyota/Scion.
"Don Joseph Toyota/Scion has always been supportive of the Kent City Schools," said Tom Larkin, assistant superintendent.
"All our Kent City School students will benefit from this generous donation."
