Kappa Sigma brothers, jail inmates team up to clean up

Members of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at Kent State University had a busy weekend recently helping the residents of Portage County, spending the day walking to raise funds for cancer research and later teaming with the Portage County Sheriff's Office inmate work detail to cut trees and clean debris for the Portage County park system. Fifty Kappa Sigma brothers spent the day with inmates clearing paths of fallen trees and collecting trash, according to Sheriff David Doak. Pictured are a number of fraternity members and jail inmates from the work detail who helped during the event.
