The Ravenna Board of Education will hold a public meeting Monday to discuss what its next levy will look like.
The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Willyard Elementary School, immediately after its regular meeting, which begins at 5 p.m.
Potential cuts, including cuts to busing, will be discussed, Superintendent Dennis Honkala has said.
Voters recently turned down the district's third request for a 4.9-mill levy by a vote of 1,927 to 1,586, according to unofficial results from the board of elections. District officials have previously said their next levy request will be larger than the previous requests.
In June, the board will start the process of putting a levy on the November ballot. Three separate resolutions are needed to do so, and the deadline to file is in August.
