Car wash benefiting Brimfield police 'Back-to-School Shop With a Cop' is June 21

The Brimfield Police Department will host a car wash benefiting the Back-to-School Shop With a Cop program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 21 in the police department parking lot, 1287 Tallmadge Road.

Brimfield police have partnered with Marshalls to bring school age children in need of new clothes, shoes and school supplies to shop with police officers at the Marshalls store in the Cascades Plaza in Brimfield prior to the beginning of next school year. 

In addition to $100 worth of new clothing, each child will receive a new back pack filled with school supplies. All donations are used for the charity, with 85 children receiving school items prior to this school year. 

Cash and school supply donations to assist with the program will be accepted at the police department from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays.For information, call 330-673-7716.
