Macedonia Speedway robbed at gunpoint; police seeking suspects (gallery)

Macedonia ­-- The Speedway Gas Station on Highland Road was robbed by two black males at gunpoint Monday evening, June 2, at 8 p.m.

Det. Bryan Vince said the two individuals also robbed a gas station in Parma around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and hit a gas station in Wickliffe around 10 p.m.

Vince said no arrests have been made, but "We are working with Parma PD and Wickliffe PD and we think have our suspects known," he said. "Now we just need to locate them."

The two males entered the gas station store and asked the store clerk, 21, where they could purchase liquor. She gave them directions and they left.

A minute later they returned to the store and stated they wanted to buy cigarettes, then walked back toward the coolers and one of the men removed a Mountain Dew.

One of the males, 21, held a black semi-automatic hand gunup to the female cashier's chest and removed money from the cash register into a bag.

As he pulled the gun out he told the cashier, "you know what this is."

They then fled on foot and got into a silver Sedan that was parked behind the Pacific Chinese Buffet.

The gunman, was 6-foot-1-inches suspect and weighs around 190-210 pounds. He was wearing a gold sweatshirt with the lettering "Thiel" on it, a light colored baseball hat, light colored sun glasses, black pants and white and black tennis shoes. He was carrying a semi-automatic hand gun at the time of the robbery.

The second male, 21, was 5-foot-11 inches, and around 140-160 pounds, and was wearing a blue or black jacket with a white stripe down the sleeve. He was also seen wearing white and black tennis shoes at the time of the robbery.
