Brimfest 2016 will feature plenty of food to please the palate.
This year, regular vendors and newcomers alike will be available throughout the festivities, which run Thursday through Sunday at Brimfield's Town Center Park.
The annual bake-off will be sponsored by Sabrina Christian-Bennet and the chili cook-off will be sponsored by the Brimfield Family Restaurant.
Visitors will be able to sink their teeth into pulled pork sandwiches from the Brimfield Lions Club.
Lynns Concessions will have several vendor carts open at the festival.
"They usually serve all kinds of interesting things," said Nancy Rodd, a Brimfest organizer. "They'll have gyros and hamburgers, lemon bars and other desserts, fried pickles, fried Oreos, deep-fried cheese on a stick -- all things fried, I guess."
Other vendors will have corn dogs, fries and chips, along with sodas, lemonade and water.
New this year, Sweet Dough Factory, based out of Aurora, will be serving funnel cakes and other fried dough products. And the Twist of Leona food truck will be selling wings.
The Brimfield Police Department will be hosting their Dogs for Dogs fundraiser, which will benefit the current and future K9 units at the department.
Rodd said the fire department typically sells Italian sausage sandwiches, but hadn't yet confirmed that.
And for those not interested in eating festival foods, Rodd said they've also got Pizza Hut confirmed for a booth.
So grab a bite to eat and head off to the parade.
