A 21-year-old Portage County man has taken responsibility in court for a Ravenna Township woman's non-fatal overdose in February in Charlestown.

Zachary D. Lilly, of 2600 Shanks Downes Road, Nelson, pleaded guilty Tuesday, Oct. 11, in Portage County Common Pleas Court to corrupting another with drugs, a second-degree felony.

Judge Laurie Pittman ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Lilly faces a mandatory two to eight years in prison.

A Portage County Drug Task Force investigation revealed that Lilly provided an opiate to a 21-year-old Ravenna Township woman in the 6200 block of Rock Spring Road in Charlestown on Feb. 29, causing her to suffer an overdose.

He was indicted March 10 by a Portage County grand jury.
