The second victim in Wednesday’s shooting in Ravenna Township, a pregnant woman, has died.
Sara C. Marsh, 32, of Olympus Drive in Kent, was transported to University Hospitals, Portage Medical Center after the shooting, where she died at 8:28 p.m., according to the Portage County Sheriff’s Office. She was reportedly six to 10 weeks pregnant, Sheriff David Doak said.
The first victim, LeShaun Sanders, 33, of Arbeco Street, Ravenna Township, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting took place at 2:23 p.m. at 6684 Henderson Road, Ravenna Township.
The suspect, David Darnell “D-Block” Calhoun Jr., 25, is still at large. Doak said he was last spotted leaving the scene on foot, and his whereabouts are unknown. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a hooded camouflaged jacket and black pants, and had long dreadlocks for a hair style. He is a black man, about 5 feet 9 inches, and weighs 182 pounds. His last known address is on Mull Avenue in Akron, according to Portage County court records.
The sheriff’s office has obtained an arrest warrant for Calhoun for the charge of aggravated murder, an unclassified felony.
