A series of road construction projects that are coming to Portage County and surrounding areas will result in lane restrictions and road closures on various state highways and city streets, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Starting Monday and continuing through early May, Allen Drive in Kent will have traffic restrictions between Erin Drive and Verona Avenue as part of a $1.4 million ODOT bridge replacement project, the agency said. Part of the Ohio Bridge Partnership Program, it also includes work on the Canada Road bridge in Mantua.
