A Stark County man who broke into All Seasons RV in Streetsboro in October has pleaded guilty to a felony charge.
Portage County Common Pleas Judge Laurie Pittman on Thursday, April 13, accepted William E. Jenkins Jr.'s guilty plea to one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony. Jenkins, 49, of North Canton, will be interviewed for court-ordered drug treatment, she ordered.
Streetsboro police investigated after Jenkins was caught on surveillance camera breaking into a fenced lot at the business at 9043 S.R. 14 and stealing thousands of dollars worth of televisions out of several travel trailers parked there.
In documents filed with the court, attorney Herbert Morello said his client committed the crime due to drug dependence, is not a repeat or dangerous offender and would have been eligible for probation if convicted of the charge.
