A Crestwood High School graduate is one of four people charged in an alleged criminal conspiracy to steal packages containing illegal drugs being sent through the U.S. mail and then selling the drugs.

Corey C. Turnbull, 26, is facing at least three federal criminal charges. Portage County court records list him as having a prior address on Nicodemus Road in Shalersville, though his last known address in court records was on Ashland Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls.

Also named Tuesday in a three-count indictment were Scott Gay Jr., 33, of Canton; Rabih Kairouz, 29, and Anton D. Easter Jr., 26, both of Akron.

David A. Sierleja, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, said Turnbull, Kairouz and Gay all were U.S. Postal Service employees between February and May of this year.

Authorities said Turnbull and Kairouz were supervisors at the Five Points Post Office at 634 W. Exchange St. in Akron, and Gay was a manager at the North Hill post office on East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue, according to court documents.

For more than three months, federal prosecutors said, the three men "intercepted suspected drug parcels at U.S. Post Offices in Akron, opened the parcels, removed marijuana contained inside," and then sold the marijuana to Easter.

The three then shared the profits of the sales, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Akron Police Department investigated the case.

Kairouz also allegedly had a kilogram of methamphetamine stolen out the mail in his possession when arrested, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Q. What high schools did the other 3 go to.....???

**** Crestwood is home of the "Red Devil's"...

That dosen't give the RC the right to use/link the Good name of Crestwood High to alleged drug dealing criminals that graduated 8 years ago...

Q. Possible Sour Grapes..???

Did Crestwood beat somebody's team that works at the RC..???
