Kent State University's Fashion Merchandising School has been ranked No. 3 nationally among public schools and colleges and No. 1 in the Midwest by fashion-schools.org.
The ranking places the school in the top 3 percent of all schools considered in the ranking by the website, an online guide for students interested in developing a career in the fashion industry.
"We are incredibly pleased that the Fashion School at Kent State continues to be recognized as one of the top schools in the United States with the release of the fashion-schools.org rankings, and amongst the best in the world in other internationally-focused rankings, as well," said J.R. Campbell, director of Kent State's Fashion School.
The school was founded in 1983 and has a current enrollment of approximately 2,000 students who are educated across three locations including Rockwell Hall on Kent Campus, the university's New York City studio located in the Garment District, and at Kent State's Florence Campus in Italy.
