South DePeyster Street between Summit Street and Haymaker Parkway in Kent will be closed through July 31 for work on underground utilities, the City of Kent's service department announced.
The closures will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays for the remainder of the month. The road will be open evenings and weekends.
The city is completing a new nearly 34,000 square foot police station on the southeast corner of DePeyster Street and Haymaker Parkway. The new station is scheduled to open in October.
