Bond was set at $100,000 cash for alleged Ravenna bank robber Cameron Cleveland.
RAVENNA — Police have formally charged a Ravenna man with robbing the Huntington Bank downtown on Monday afternoon.
Cameron Cleveland, 39, has been charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. A second person taken into custody was questioned and was determined not to be involved, then released, police said in a release.

A pistol was recovered along with cash covered in red dye (bank dye pack) from the location where Cleveland was taken into custody. A search warrant was secured and the interior of the apartment checked for evidence. A white scarf and shirt were found in a laundry basket, those items also covered in red dye.
The white scarf was worn by Cleveland during the robbery, police said.
Ravenna Police thanked the FBI and Portage County Sheriff’s Office for assisting and citizens who provided tips and descriptions of the suspect.
