The Streetsboro Church of Christ participated in a Bible Bowl competition on the Old Testament books of Ruth and Esther and the New Testament books of I and II Timothy recently. The competition was hosted by the Alkire Road Church of Christ in Grove City near Columbus.
Two fourth through seventh grade teams, one eighth through twelfth grade team, and three adult teams competed.
The younger students finished fourth and eighth out of 14 teams, while the teens finished in second out of eight teams by just 10 points. One adult team finished in first out of 15 teams. Five individuals had perfect scores.
Ribbons were given to all teams finishing in the top-three and plaques were awarded to all first place teams for display.
