Carolyn Sue Swecker, 63, of Brimfield, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Kent Healthcare Center. She was born June 23, 1944 in Ravenna to Raymond Adam and Hazel Anna (Brown) Curfman. She was formerly employed by Brown Derby In Hudson. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, former member of Faith United Methodist Church in Brimfield and H.E.R.E. Union. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Swecker; daughters, Cindy (Kevin) Brennan of Arlington, MA, Rae Lynn (Paul) Castner of Edinburg, Melissa (Mark) Petey of Seville, Tammy (fiance, Dave Dragus) Swecker of Lake Milton, and Robin Swecker of Bristow, VA; grandchildren, Robert Brennan, Thomas Castner, Rachele Castner, Kayla Petey, Cassie Petey, Christian Petey, and Victoria Petey. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Vivian Wilson. Calling hours will be held 7-9 PM Friday, May 9th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent and Saturday one hour preceding the 10:30 AM service with Budd Curfman officiating.
