Henrietta Elizabeth Hamilton (nee Waugh), age 77, former resident of Aurora, Kent and Ravenna, died May 4, 2008 at Hudson Elms Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Henrietta was born on February 8, 1931 to Fred and Goldie (Bronson) Waugh in Pierson, Iowa. She entered the Marine Corps where she met and married her husband Gerald Keith Hamilton. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Gerald (2004), grandchildren Renee, Christine and Noah Gies, brothers Virgil and Edwin Waugh and sisters Gertrude Waugh and Edith Stafford. Henrietta is survived by her children, Charles (Cindy) Hamilton, Gerald Jr. (Tina) Hamilton, Linda (Steven) Gies, Laura (Douglas) Watson and Laurence Hamilton, by grandchildren Daniel and Lindsey Hamilton, Logan Hamilton, William (Kristina) Hamilton and their daughters Morgan and Vanessa, Kyle Gies, Rebekah and Kaylin Watson. She is also survived by her brothers James and Fred (Beverly) Waugh and sisters Lois Lewis, Donna Hansen, Veneta (William), Pa and Deloris (Gary) Winters and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Church of Aurora and Silver Oaks Community Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Woodlands at Robinson, University Hospital Beford Medical Center, Hudson Elms and Harbor Lights Hospice for the loving care they gave to our mother during the last year of her life. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Blessing Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH (1/2 miles S. of I-480 Rt 91 exit) where funeral service will be held on Thursday May 8, at 11:00 am.
