The engagement of Shanna Marie Mazanec of Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of James and Deborah Mazanec of Shalersville, to Michael Zane Thorvilson of Little Rock, the son of Dr. Harlan and Claudia Thorvilson of Lubbock, Texas, is announced. The bride-elect attended Crestwood High School and earned a bachelor's in human ecology in 2004 from The Ohio State University. She is employed with Perfect Ten Satellite in Little Rock. Her fiancé attended Coronado High School in Lubbock and earned an engineering degree in 2005 from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He is employed with Southwestern Energy in Conway, Ark. The two plan to be married July 12 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora.
