The engagement of Kendra McLean, the daughter of Bill and Doris Pogue of Windham, to Kyle Kahoun, the son of Ron and Dawn Kahoun of Nelson, is announced. The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Windham High School and now attends Kent State University. She is employed with the Portage Educational Service Center and Hattie Larlham agencies. Her fiancé is a graduate of James A. Garfield High School and attended Maplewood Career Center in Ravenna. He is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. The two plan to be married Aug. 16 at the Kahoun home in Nelson and will live in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
