No injuries were reported in a fire that consumed a Galaxy Drive garage and scorched part of the attached Suffield home late Saturday night. The family was home at the time of the fire, according to the Suffield Fire Department. The department responded to the call of a structure fire at 9:47 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters had the fire under control within an hour of responding but did not clear the scene until 6 a.m. Sunday. An estimate of the damage caused by the fire was unavailable Sunday. Fire departments from Brady Lake, Hartville, Kent, Brimfield, Mogadore, Randolph and Springfield also responded to the call.
