James "Pete" Folan of Surprise, Arizona passed away Sunday August 3, 2008 at the Boswell Hospital in Suncity, Arizona. He was born November 1, 1936 in Nemacolin, Pa. to the late Martin and Liticia (Hughes) Folan. Pete has lived in Surprise, Arizona the past 10 years and was formerly of Sagamore Hills and Streetsboro, Ohio. He was a member of the Elks in Surprise, AZ, the Eagles in Bedford, OH, the K of C in Streetsboro and was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. He retired after 42 years of service from the Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills, Ohio. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Dorothy (Blasiole) Folan, sons James M. (Barb) Folan, Tony (Barb) Folan, daughter Dorene Folan all of Streetsboro, Ohio, grandchildren Jimmy, Jeff, Melissa, Joey, Anthony, Dana, Spenser, Buddy Bam "Tanya" (Jake), Tiera, great grandson C.J., brothers Martin of CA, Mike of VA, sisters Patty of VA, Connie of MI and Jackie of PA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Bull. Calling hours will be TODAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Shorts Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 PM Saturday August 9, 2008 at St. Joan of Arc Church Streetsboro with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro, Ohio.
