Clarice Roliff, age 85 of Kent, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008, at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Born March 6, 1923, in Jumping Branch, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Dwight and Letha (Mills) Quesenberry, Clarice was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. She retired from the food service department at Kent State University after many years of service. Clarice enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and tending to her flowers. Survivors include her children: Jim (Melissa) Adkins of Tallmadge, Darell (Laurie) Roliff of Brimfield, Sally (Bill Stewart) Roliff of Xenia; grandson: Daniel Roliff; brothers: Earl (Juanita) Quesenberry of Shady Springs, WV, Harrell (Lois Ann) Quesenberry of White Oak, WV; sisters: Marge Payne of New Port Richey, FL, Ruth Lilly of Shady Springs, Lois Francisco of Parkersburg, WV, Judith Lilly of White Oak; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jordan Adkins in 1944 and her husband Emmett Roliff in 1995. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Reverend Bernard Christy on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
