Ravenna High School taking shape

Workers at the new Ravenna High School construction site on North Chestnut Street had a sunny, but chilly, day to install underground pipes Friday afternoon. Heavy snow and below freezing wind chills slowed progress on the school this winter, but the tentative date for the school's completion is still on target for February 2010.

Shades of the K.S.U. Recreation & Wellness Center beign built on E.P.A.-defined wetlands! Who'd have thunk it, eh?

seems that there was an indian mound on the farm where the high school is being built
