By Diane Smith Record-Courier staff writer BRIMFIELD — A 49-year-old woman is facing drug and prostitution charges after township police served a search warrant at her apartment. Diana K. Davis, of Edson Road in Brimfield, was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of heroin, a fourth-degree felony, and prostitution, a third-degree misdemeanor. Davis advertised her services on the Internet as an “escort,” billing herself as “Sexy Sasha.” Her ad is headlined, “Tired of playing with kids? Experience pleasure with Sexy Sasha.” For the past month, officers from the department had been investigating activity at Davis’ apartment in the Woodglen complex on Edson Road. The investigation centered on complaints that Davis was engaging in prostitution out of the apartment. Police Chief David Blough said the department received several complaints of people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Those calling the department suspected drug activity or “something else afoot.” Officers spoke to the visitors and Davis, who “certainly wasn’t denying what was going on,” and returned with a warrant, Blough said. Blough said Davis told officers that she had serviced at least 20 different clients in the month of June. During the search, officers recovered a computer, client lists and other items, which police said indicated that Davis secured clientele via an Internet site and had them meet her at her apartment for sex in exchange for cash and other items of value. “I love to meet new people and try new things,” Davis’ ad reads. “Fetishes are welcome and enjoyed! I also will do light domination. Tell me how you want me to dress for you I like to please you in any way I can .... I even have many costumes for fantasy play! Bring a bottle of wine if you like we can relax and play!” The ad also stated that she would be willing to trade her services for merchandise, including TVs, furniture and vacation spots. Officers also recovered heroin, syringes, a scale and various sexually related items, including various costumes. Blough said the apartment complex is home to many Kent State University students as well as young married couples and single parents. “Prostitution is illegal and when you have an apartment complex, you have to provide for quality of life issues,” Blough said. Davis was being transported to the Portage County jail pending an arraignment at 1:15 p.m. today.
