MARLBORO — The Chapel in Marlboro, 8700 S.R. 619, will host an ADVANCE Saturday Seminar from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at its Marlboro Source Cafe.
The topic is “Learning to Know Your Muslim Neighbor.” No pre-registration is necessary, and coffee will be served from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
The Muslim population in America is growing and the potential for misunderstanding exists.
David John from Cuyahoga Falls will be leading the seminar. John was raised in a Muslim home, and became a Christian as a young man. Fluent in Arabic and English, he is able to read the Koran in its original language. He will speak from his life experience.
ADVANCE is the name for Adult Ministries at The Chapel in Marlboro. The Saturday Seminar series occurs three times annually, always providing a forum for understanding current trends in society from a Biblical perspective. Rob Cochran is Pastor of Adult Ministries.
