Zeta Omicron Chapter of Delta Omicron recently met at the home of Sara Miller.

The program, entitled "Thai Music and Culture through a Western Lens: Of a King, a Teacher, and an Undying Myth," was presented by Sara Miller. It examined the life of Anna Leonowens, who spent five years, 1862-67, as an English teacher in the royal court of Siam (now Thailand) during the reign of King Mongkut (Rama IV). It presented the true story of her life from her own books and the portrayal of Thai music by Westerners.

The next Zeta Omicron meeting will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Church of Christ in Akron at the performance of "The Trial of Job," a musical by Sharon Alberson.
