The Stow-Kent Animal Hospital and the Portage Animal Clinic welcomed Dr. Eric E. Brooks as the newest member of their veterinary healthcare team.
Brooks is a 2005 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of veterinary school, Brooks served as an officer in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps.
His previous assignments included assistant instructor for Veterinary Services at the Fort Sam Houston Army Medical Department Center and School, chief of Veterinary Medicine at the Fort Bragg Veterinary Treatment Facility, and field veterinarian assigned to the 248th Medical Detachment (Veterinary Services -- Airborne). While on active duty service, Brooks worked to maintain the health and welfare of the Military Working Dogs.
