Four Kent businesses will receive Immy Awards during the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner Thursday.

The four are Go2Go Taxi, Kent Displays, Looking Glass Learning Center, and Phoenix Properties/Acorn Alley. The city of Kent will also present development awards.

Dr. Emilio Ferrara will receive the Kent Medal for Public Service, the chamber’s highest honor.

Immy Awards recognize businesses that have grown or  improved their facilities.

The chamber dinner will take place at The Rusty Nail in Twin Lakes, starting at 6 p.m. with a reception and silent auction. Dinner will follow at 7 p.m.

The annual meeting is open to the public. Rservations can be made by calling the Chamber office at 330-673-9855 or emailing pgriggs@kentbiz.com. Cost is $30 per person.
