William J. Ingraham Sr.William

m J. Ingraham, Sr. 87, of Stow, formerly of Windham, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Akron City Hospital. He was born December 7, 1921 in Charleroi, Pa. Bill served in the U.S. Army in Europe during WWII and was a winder at Peerless Electric. He enjoyed fishing and playing bridge and pinnacle. He is survived by his son, William (Maria) Ingraham Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Noralee Ingraham of Stow; brother, Fred of Oklahoma; sisters, Norma Bender of Calif., Nancy Obaroski of Arkansas, and Ruth Pelo of Newton Falls; grandchildren, Gina, Lisa and Tina; and and great-grandchildren, Alianna, Diego, James, Luke, Michael, Mari, Andy and Ashlee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verne and Eva (Bagley) Ingraham; wife, Lenora Midge (Beckner) Ingraham; and a sister, LaVerne Barnett. Visitation will be 11 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at the United Church of Christ Congregational, 9029 N. Main St., Windham, Oh. 44288. The funeral services will follow at 12 noon at the church. Burial will be conducted with Military Honors at Windham Twp. Cemetery.
