The annual Christmas in the Woods craft fair will be open from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Maplewood Career Center in Ravenna, 7075 S.R. 88.

The two-day show features more than 150 crafters and specialty vendors, who will fill the school with handmade crafts and unique items.

The event is open to the public. Admission and parking are free.

The show features items and activities of interest to all ages.

This year's free entertainment includes a Lionel train display and a display of carvings shown by the Kent area carvers who created them. High school carolers will offer music.

In addition, a gathering of quilt makers from the Country Piece Makers will attract needlework fans, as will a working spinning wheel yarn maker demonstrating her traditional products.

There will also be a glass blower.

In addition to crafts and gifts, shoppers can find jewelry, art and home decorations, as well as locally produced maple syrup, candy, baked goods and holiday treats. Lunch items, snacks and drinks will be available during show hours.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are scheduled to arrive soon after the Friday opening and will be on hand for visits throughout the show.

Reservations are now being taken for children to attend Breakfast with Santa, which will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday.

To reserve a spot, or for more information, call 330-296-2892.
