For over 50 years, the League of Women Voters of Kent has provided voter services to the community through voter registration, candidate and issue forums and the Voters' Guide in order to encourage the informed participation by citizens in government. Over 200 candidates were contacted and information for 47 issues was obtained for the November 2009 general election edition of the Voters' Guide.
Many members of the community have expressed to us their appreciation for the Voters' Guide as they prepare to vote before the primary and general elections. Our efforts in providing this information would not be possible without the support of the Record-Courier and its staff. We want to publicly thank the Record-Courier for publishing the Voters' Guide and providing this service to the community.
