The first baby of the new year was born Friday afternoon at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Kolton Ty Broman was born at 3:17 p.m. to Toshia Bachtel and Gregory Broman of Streetsboro, weighing 7 pounds, 7.1 ounces. He was 20.5 inches long.
Proud grandparents are Vern and Carla Bachtel and Joe and Carolyn Gavit of Streetsboro; and Dave and Wendy Broman of Stow. Great-grandparents include Carl Wolford of Kent and Leta Hartman of Streetsboro.
