s William Leroy Willie Williams, 65, passed away at Longmeadow Care Center on Thursday, January 28, 2010. He was born February 28, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William L. and Elizabeth A. (Rankin) Williams, Sr. Bill served honorably in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam Era. He was a laborer by trade. He enjoyed Bingo, was an Elvis fan and an avid supporter of all Cleveland sports teams. He is survived by his son, William Girtz of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters, Kim (Brett) Becton of Atwater and Sandra Williams (Gino) of Myrtle Beach; brothers, James of Ravenna, Robert (Patricia) of Nelson and Donald (Judy) of Ormond Beach, Fla; sisters, Sharon (Carl) Judge of Garrettsville and Kathleen (Robert) Towles of Windham; and 5 grandchildren. Calling hours are 2-3 PM on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Mallory-DeHaven- Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Funeral Services will follow at 3 PM with Howard Furl, Chaplain, officiating.
