in' Jean C. Cross, 89, died peacefully, Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at Wooster Community Hospital. Jean was born June 5, 1920 in McGregor, Iowa the daughter of the late Warren and Anna Marie (Kleinow) Foster. She married Glen D. Cross on Sept. 14, 1941 and they celebrate 58 years of marriage until his death on Jan. 23, 2000. Jean graduated from McGregor High School and in 1942 she and Glen moved to the Akron area residing there until moving to a farm near Burbank in 1981. She was a member of Seville United Methodist Church. Surviving are her 5 children, Diana and husband Bob Doernberg of Akron, Richard Cross of Homerville, Jan and husband Brent Bennett of Naples FL, Beth and husband Dana Wunderlich of Kent and Mark and wife Kelly Cross of Germantown; 6 grandchildren, Bill and wife Brenda Cross; Abby and husband Scott Triutt, Michael Doernberg, Matthew Doernberg, Steven Cross and Dana Wunderlich; great-grandchildren, Tessa, Noelle and Meagan Cross and Sawyer Truitt and 2 brothers Robert Foster of Marietta, GA and Calvin Foster of Ankeny, Iowa. Services will be Thursday, Feb. 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, OH.
