The Celtic Club has begun sponsoring the Mountain Rose Concert Series and is inviting everyone to spend the evening on Valentine's Day at a concert featuring Brian Henke and Waterband Duo at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Roy Smith Shelter House at Fred Fuller Park, 497 Middlebury Road in Kent. There is a $7 donation at the door.

Brian Henke is an acoustic/folk guitarist from Bay Village, whose unique style has been called everything from folk to new age to neo-classical to pastoral. He is the founder of "The Woodchoppers Ball" annual benefit concert for the Northeast Coalition for the Homeless currently held every December at the Kent Stage.

He is the winner of many acoustic and electric guitar awards. He has opened or shared the stage with artists such as Richie Havens, Yes, The Kingston Trio, Allison Brown, Adrian Belew, Yngie Malmsteen, Spyro Gyra and Linda Ronstadt.

The Waterband Duo is from Cleveland and performs "Folkadelicfunkpop for your mind, body and soul."

The host of the concert is Tom Ball from 91.3-FM The Summit.
