The Northeast Ohio Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star, Grand Chapter of Ohio will host a dance benefit with proceeds going to the American Heart Association. "Dancing for Heart Health" will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Cuyahoga Falls Masonic Hall, 2307 Sackett Ave. Live music will be provided by Vivian and Jim Back on keyboard and percussion, assisted by Pete November on accordion. There will also be a silent themed basket auction including "Wine," "Romantic," "Ohio," and "Wizard of Oz," plus two other baskets supplied by the six Northeastern Ohio Eastern Star districts hosting the event and a "Dollar Dance" competition between the past grand officers and grand officers in attendance. A buffet of heart-healthy finger foods and beverages will be served during the evening. Dress for the occasion is casual and the event is open to anyone wishing to support the American Heart Association and enjoy an evening of "fun fellowship, finger food and fancy footwork." Donation ticket receipts are available at $10 per person in advance ($15 at the door) by contacting Bill Westover at 330-654-2199. Nearly $200,000 has been donated to the American Heart Association by the Order of the Eastern Star, Grand Chapter of Ohio over the past 10 years. Comments
