Ravenna police responded to a 911 cell phone call from a woman trapped in the trunk of her Pontiac Sunfire around noon Wednesday, only to discover her captivity was self-inflicted.
The Ohio Highway Patrol received the initial call Wednesday from a woman who reported being trapped inside the trunk of her own car.
According to reports, the woman was in the trunk with the doors open and the keys in her ignition. The car was parked in a space in front of the Subway at 320 E. Main St.
“She got trapped in there by herself,” an officer radioed to dispatch, quelling fears that she was put there by someone else.
The woman, clearly embarrassed, declined to comment. It’s unclear how she trapped herself in the trunk.

From what I understand, this woman was severely distracted while texting in one hand while reaching into her trunk with the other to grab her anti-anti-union protest sign. Good thing it was a union-cop to rescue her because a non-union cop would have been incompetent and unwilling to go tat extra mile.

As stupid as it was, it could have been a lot worse. Or maybe this is the logical explanation! She could have been practicing for the remake of "GoodFellas" and she wanted to be person in the trunk - as Joe Pesci pulls out the butcher knife he borrowed from his mother. hahahahahaha. Unbelievable! Yup Ravenna - thats it!

Not to "out scoop" the Record-Courier but I know who did this and I've been told it was one of these 3 reasons....
Well, I was sleepy and it was snowing so I didn't want to leave the trunk open... -Or- I wanted to cuddle with golf clubs in private... -Or- I was trying to get into my car through the back seat... |
