Thank you Queen Mary,
I served deviled eggs at my dinner party tonight, for the first time since I started raising my own. Your 'recipe' worked. They were beautiful. Thanks! |

Queen Mary,
Do you start with cold eggs or room temp? |

For Old Ma...To boil and peel any egg, fresh or old all you have to do is get your water to a boil first, then add your eggs gently into the boiling water, I use a tablespoon. Let them boil about 17 min, drain off hot water and bounce the eggs in your pan a bit to crack the shells, run cold water over them for a couple min. and there you are, they will peel as easy as anything. i even boiled fresh duck eggs this way and my fresh chicken eggs. it works everytime.

FYI Zorro,
FRESH eggs don't boil and peel like OLD store bought eggs. Back down city boy. |
