Carelss Driver

I would like to thank the careless driver that caused $500 damage to my brand new car on Saturday, March 22 around 11:30AM. While I was driving on Rt 14 to Ravenna, some contractor in a bright red heavy duty pick up truck pulling a trailer came towards me right where it splits in two lanes before West Branch, and decided to drive on the yellow line, throwing the leftover slush from that Friday night's snow flurries up into the air and onto my pretty little light blue Scion. Not sucha big deal, right? WELL...this was not your normal, run-of-the-mill slush, though...no. It was frozen ROCK SOLID and hit my car like a ton of bricks. Had the truck not been throwing so much of it into the air, I might have been able to read the white lettering on the side of his truck to contact them about this driver's careless act. I mean, come on! There were two lanes there for him to drive on! The force of the slush shattered one of the fog lights that I had just had installed and damaged the windshield wipers--which, by the way, caused them to be delayed in clearing my completely covered window. Had he looked in his rear view, he might have seen me slam on my brakes and swerve because I couldn't see a thing. He's lucky he didn't cause me to go off the road. So THANKS A LOT. If I'm lucky, I'll only see a small increase in my insurance rates, thanks to you.
