Here's a message to all readers that patronize Giant Eagle in Rootstown and Ravenna. I called their 800 number to ask why Streetsboro and Alliance Giant Eagle stores offer 20 cents off of gas for a $50 purchase and Rootstown and Ravenna offer only 10 cents off. The customer service person didn't really know but when I asked if it was because there was a Super Wal Mart near those stores, she said yes that competition has something to do with it. So maybe when the Super Wal Mart opens on 59 in Ravenna, that will be close enough for Giant Eagle to fairly offer the same deal with Ravenna customers. Until then, send them a message and shop somewhere else

They also have double perks at the Hartville location, leading up to the opening of their own Get Go.
