John J. Robby Robinson age 65 of Howland, OH died Monday May 5, 2008 at 5:12 AM at Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was born August 2, 1942 in Warren, OH to John C. & Ruth (Waid) Robinson. both deceased. He was a 1960 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He retired in 2002 after 31 years, from the General Motors Fabricating Plant in Lordstown where he was a millwright. He previously worked at Van Huffel Tube Corp. He was a member of the UAW Local 1714. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping, sailing, and most of all, spending time with his granddaughter. He is survived by his wife Linda Maimone Robinson whom he married October 18, 1969, children, Cheryl (Bob) Crooks Vienna, OH, Gary (Cindy) Robinson Solon, OH, Granddaughter, Isabelle Robinson, sister, Barbara Diehl, Pickerington, OH, brother-in-law, Jack (Sheila) Vaccaro of Minneapolis, MN & sister-in-law, Frances Dalton of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law Danny Diehl Funeral services will be Thursday May 8, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul P. Leone officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday May 7, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and also Thursday afternoon at the funeral home, one half hour prior to services. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery.
