Nedra Mae Schmidt 78 of Ravenna passed away May 4, 2008 at Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 16, 1929 in Toronto, OH to the late Oliver & Nora (White) Maffett. Married to Clyde Schmidt whom passed in 1984, she was a homemaker and attended the First Christian Church in Ravenna. Nedra was a member of the "Dandelions" Club and the Ravenna Garden Club as well as the Ravenna Community Choir. Survivors include Daughter: Beth A. (Jay) Gariety of Celina, OH, 4 Grandsons: Enoch & Ben Hamilton of Salem, OH., Zeke Hamilton of Fayetteville, NC., and Zack Gariety of Celina, OH.. Preceded in death by a Daughter: Dawn L. Hamilton, 3 Sisters: Her Twin Sister - Norma Kidder, Cleophus "Tope" Carpenter & Carole Virden and a Brother: Jack Maffett. A gathering of friends will be held from 4-6 pm.
