Caryl Rae Krannich

Caryl Rae Krannich, 64, of Woodbridge, Virginia, died suddenly August 4, 2008 at the Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, Virginia. Mrs. Krannich was the co-owner of Impact Publications, a publication company that she and her husband founded. She graduated from Mt. Union College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She later received an MA in Speech Communications from the University of Hawaii, and completed her PhD in Speech Communications from Penn State University. Caryl has been a member of Grace United Methodist Church for the past three years, where she was a soprano section leader in the Chancel Choir, and is the author of more than 50 career and travel Books. Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Ronald Krannich; her mother, Marjorie Smith Woodring of Kent; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Woodring. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9th, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. 1 p.m. at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside services will held at 2:30 p.m. at Woodvale Cemetery in Middleburg Heights with the Rev. David Pattee officiating. (RC 8-7 & 8-2008)
