Richard E. Moeller

Richard E. Moeller, 94, of Brimfield, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at his residence. He was born March 2, 1914, in Akron, to Harry and Elfreida (Leo) Moeller. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and loved to fish. He was a loving husband and devoted father of twelve. He will be greatly missed by his wife and family. We Love You Dad. He retired from Gougler Machine Company in Kent in 1976 after close to 40 years of service. Special thanks to Sandy and Shirley of Visiting Angels.. He was a member of St. Patrick Church. He is survived by his wife, Rita C.(Brooker) Moeller, whom he married on August 14, 1937; sons, Richard (Thelma) Moeller, Kevin (Carol) Moeller, Fulton (Linda) Moeller; daughters, Sandy Peterman of Florida, Mary (Dave) Halsey, Georgia (Larry) Stein, Bonnie Moeller, Sheila (Ray) Gorham, Kathy (Gary) Parker, Ann (Mark) Stewart, Debbie (Tom) Husser; forty one grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Fred Moeller; sisters, Marie Pappoi and Elise Miller; and brother, Harold Moeller. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 15 at St. Patrick Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main Street, Akron, OH 44310. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements. (RC, 8-14-08)
