James R. Brenn, 79, died August 19, 2008. He was born in Akron to Ida and William Brenn on June 25, 1929. He served as a reconnaissance officer in the Korean Conflict and was a member of American Legion Post #218 in Cuyahoga Falls. A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by daughters Lisa Brenn- Pontius, Jenny (George Reeves) Brenn, Courtney Brenn, sons Todd (Heather Adams) Brenn and Jeff Brenn, grandchildren, Campbell (Daniel) Valle, Jordan Pontius, Ryan Brenn, Matthew Brenn and Travis Peevers. Memorial service will be conducted Friday 2 PM at the Redmon Funeral Home where friends may call from 1 PM until service time. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in his name to the American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd. #260, Independence, OH 44131-2340. (REDMON, STOW 330-688-6631 RC 08-21-2008)
