ed away Wednesday June 24, 2009 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born June 29, 1931 in Huntington, WVA to the late Howard and Mildred (Wright) Greene. He has lived in Ravenna the past 33 years and retired from Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. Mr. Greene was a member of the Chapel in Akron and a veteran serving with the US Marines. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Marlene (Stockdale) Greene, daughters Tami Williams of Columbus, OH, Toni Shirk of Atlanta, GA, Teri (Ben) Chmielewski of Shaker Hts., OH, Mary Ann Watts of Florida, step- daughter Darla Fites of Akron, Step-son Mike Kale of Suffield, OH, grandchildren Jason, Alix, Zachary, Buster, Timothy, Gini-Lyn, Nicholas, Sarah, Summer, River, Raine, Reanne, great grandchildren Ashleigh, Danielle, Charlie, Ethan and sisters Janenne and Janette. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother William "Bill" Green. Calling hours will be from 12 noon until time of services at 2:00 PM Wednesday July 1, 2009 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home.
