IELD. Daniel James Armstrong "Danny", 22, passed away June 30, 2009. Born in Akron, Danny was a life time resident of the Akron/Suffield area and a 2005 graduate of Field High School. He was a member of Portage County 4-H Club and played quarterback for the Field High School football team. Danny was employed by Congress Lake Farms. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Geraldine Carpenter. He is survived by his parents, James and Carol Armstrong; sisters, Marcy Armstrong and Katie Holcomb; brothers, Joe and Cody Armstrong; grandparents, James and Jan Armstrong and Hugh Carpenter; extended family, Tom and Vicki Knapp and Ralph and Sue Blake; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services will be 8 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009 at the DONOVAN FUNERAL HOME, 17 SOUTHWEST AVE. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Pastor Bill Nicewarner officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be given to the Portage 4-H Benefit Committee, 6970 State Rt. 88, Ravenna, 44266.
