I have just recently started buying the Record-Courier and was so pleasantly surprised to read Dan Thomasson's July 1 column ("Obama: Master manipulator of media.") This courageous opinion, which was not in the tank for Obama, was oh so refreshing. Obama not only manipulates the media, he manipulates the public.
I am keeping this to read in the future as a reminder that at least one newspaper in this country can stand up for something other than blindly following our president. We are all going to be in big trouble pretty soon, and I believe that you are the first newspaper to expose the president for what he is. Thank you.
